Workshop Seminar: Black Holes and Quantum Information

Dear all,

we are happy to announce that the new Workshop Seminar series, "Black Holes and Quantum Information", starts next week! This edition is co-organized by the Pheno+String groups. There will be a total of 8 lectures with the last one taking place on 18.07 (20.06 is a QU day).

The first lecture will be given by Aditya Pathak on "QFT in curved spacetime (recap)" in person in seminar room 2 (building 2a).

The plan is to follow the "Jerusalem Lectures on Black Holes and Quantum Information" by Daniel Harlow [https://arxiv.org/abs/1409.1231]. The program can be found on the series' indico page: https://indico.desy.de/category/1028/

The first three lectures are covered but we will need volunteers from the fourth one on (starting on June 13th). Details and poll to follow -- please consider contributing; as always, the success of the workshop seminar depends on your active participation.
