Dear participant,
To prepare for next week‘s seminar on Good Scientific Practice, please take a look at the PDF titled “GSP Reading List” uploaded in Geventis and follow the instructions. All necessary documents are uploaded in Geventis as well.

Please note that the better you’re prepared for class, the more you will be able to take away from it.

The MIN Graduate Center recommends all doctoral researchers to participate in a seminar on Good Scientific Practice (Gute Wissenschaftliche Praxis). We will discuss important issues around a smooth and successful completion of your doctorate:

  • Introduction to the Bylaws of Good Scientific Practice
  • Misconduct in Research
  • Handling Data
  • Publication Process and Authorship
  • Responsibility of Supervisors and the Supervised
  • Academic Freedom
  • Resolving Conflicts

Please be sure to cancel your registration should you be unable to attend. The seminar will be held in English.
