Theory of Electronic Structure and Molecular Dynamics (IMPRS-UFAST core C5)
Dr. Sang-Kil SonCourse
Description
The course provides an overview of molecular electronic structure theory and molecular dynamics. It starts with basic concepts of variational method and perturbation theory, and explores the Hartree-Fock method and post-Hartree-Fock methods. It will discuss interaction of molecules with weak and strong electromagnetic fields and then cover the basics of molecular dynamics. Every lecture will be along with an interactive group work.
