ViWissKo - Visual Science Communication

Methods for Presentations with Scientific Posters and Powerpoint Slides

How can visual means help to present scientific discussions on slides in a clear and comprehensible way? And how can I use my scientific poster at a conference to arouse interest and ensure the desired transfer of information?
> In this course we will deal with visual methods and how you can use them specifically for your work.

Important note: Important note: The workshop offers the opportunity to discuss your concrete designs and present them to the plenum - in a protected setting - for feedback.

If you wish, you can also send me your own material in advance (after registering for the course, no later than Wednesday morning, 02.02.) (, so that I can present it on the first day as a design example and illustrate ViWissKo methods on it. This sending is of course voluntary and serves only as an illustration - the material does not have to be complete at all.

Participation in a meeting requires the installation of the Zoom software. Participation via your browser is not possible.

Sharing login information and recording is prohibited.

Before participating, you will be asked to provide your name. It is not necessary to give your full name. If it is necessary to establish your identity, the use of a pseudonym (e.g. for students the matriculation number and for employees the routing number) is sufficient. If there is no need for you to be present with a picture, it is recommended that the video function be switched off.
